Film maker Anil Sharma is in discussion these days about his film Vanwas. Meanwhile, he has talked about casting Ameesha Patel in 'Gadar-2'. He said that the actress does not want to play mother-in-law in the film.
Anil Sharma talked about Ameesha Patel's age During a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Anil Sharma said that Ameesha Patel did not get as much space as she got in 'Gadar 2'. He didn't understand that age was even a thing. While you are Jeet's mother, you also have to be his wife's mother-in-law.
An actor has to play every type of role – Anil Anil continued – I believe he has worked hard on himself. But since he is an actor, he has to do all kinds of roles. Nargis also became a mother in 'Mother India'. She was very young then.
Did not talk to director during shooting – Ameesha Ameesha Patel has also spoken about creative differences with Anil Sharma in several interviews in the past. In an old interview, Ameesha Patel had said that she did not talk to director Anil Sharma during the shoot. The actress also said – I respect him a lot. This has never affected our relationship. The shooting of 'Gadar 2' was 30-40 days. She used to share her views with me through the assistant director.
Gadar was released in cinemas in the year 2001.

After 22 years, Ghadar 2 became as big a hit in theaters as Ghadar. The film broke many records by earning Rs 670 crore at the box office.
