The film 'Lapata Ladies' was sent for an award in the foreign category. The Film Federation of India announced on 23 September to send it to the Oscars 2025. It was directed by Kiran Rao and produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions. It stars Ravi Kishan, Sparsh Srivastava, Pratibha Ranta and Nitanshi Goyal in lead roles.
