Sonakshi Sinha is constantly in the news after her marriage with Zaheer Iqbal. Recently she was involved in controversies with Mukesh Khanna. He also criticized Mukesh Khanna. Amidst the controversy with Mukesh, Sonakshi revealed that an older actor once refused to work with her because the actor thought she (Sonakshi) looked older than him. Sonakshi also spoke about the double standards for men and women in films. She said that actresses have to bear the brunt of the industry's double standards.
Sonakshi Sinha said in a roundtable chat, “It's very clear that the same expectations don't apply to men (actors). When they romance women 30 years younger than them, they are not ashamed of their age. They are not ashamed of their big bellies and less hair on their heads. It is clear that women have to bear the brunt of this.”
The older actor refused to work with Sonakshi Sinha Sonakshi Sinha continued, “Actually, I have even faced actors who are older than me and who have said, 'I look older than them.' Hey, I am 5-6 years younger than you. I just want to thank him. I don't want to work with someone like you.'

It should be the same for men. After all, we are all artists and it shouldn't be such a struggle for women artists.!”
