In the year 2021, Raj Kundra was accused of being involved in an adult film making app connection, due to which he also had to go to jail. He had to stay in jail for more than a month. Currently, Raj Kundra is out on bail, but the case is going on in court. Raj Kundra's family also faced a lot of trouble due to this case.
Raj Kundra broke his silence after three years Now Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra has broken his silence on this matter after three years. He regrets not speaking about this earlier. Raj says he should have spoken for his family first. Speaking to ANI, he said that sometimes silence is bliss for me but when it comes to family and family members are involved, I feel I should come forward and speak, I have full faith in the judiciary. I have been fighting for this justice since last 3 years, it was difficult to survive 63 days without family, I am fighting in court, I am confident that I will win this case.
Raj Kundra clarified Raj Kundra further said, till date I have not been a part of any adult film, any production or anything related to adult. It was very sad when this allegation came out. Bail was granted in the absence of any facts or evidence. For that I know as far as running the app is concerned there was a listed company which we gave to my brother in law. In which they launched a UK-based app, it was definitely bold, designed for a larger audience. These were A-rated films but they were not adult films.
Raj Kundra said, “If a girl says that she has worked with me or in any of my products, the media has to prove that I am the main character of 13 Apps.” I was involved only as a software technician. In February 2021, the Mumbai Police investigated the pornography racket. Many women complained that they were forced to create objectionable content in the name of auditioning for films and web series.
Was there a conspiracy with Raj Kundra? In the same interview, Raj Kundra called the case a conspiracy. He narrated an incident, once when I was in PC, someone came to me in the middle of the night and said, why did you quarrel with him?' Then I came to know who had hatched this conspiracy against me. Raj did not reveal their names but said those who conspired against him would be punished for their actions.
What did the women accuse? According to the women, they were pressured to complete the shoot, which was later distributed under subscription on online platforms HotHit Movies and Nuefliks. Raj Kundra emerged as the main suspect in this investigation.
