On the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of Hindi film industry showman Raj Kapoor, the entire Kapoor family reached Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The pictures of the meeting with the PM are going viral on social media. Now the video of this meeting has surfaced in which Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Reema Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Armaan Jain, Nikhil Nanda, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Bharat Sahni were seen talking to the PM.
When the PM spoke – cut In the video, Ranbir told how meeting the Prime Minister of the country is a matter of pride for his family. He also said that for almost a week everyone was getting nervous about meeting the PM and wondering how and what he would talk about.
Ranbir said, 'Last week in our family WhatsApp group we were deciding whether to call you Prime Minister, Prime Minister, Reema Phoiba was calling me everyday and asking if I can say this? Responding to Ranbir, PM Modi said- I too belong to your family, you can call me whatever you want. After this, Raj Kapoor's sister Reema Kapoor shares her opinion with the Prime Minister. Reema hesitantly speaks – Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modiji… As soon as he speaks, PM Modi says 'cut' in film style. Everyone starts laughing after hearing this.

The film should be made to attract the attention of Central Asia Recalling an incident, Reema said that even today she gets a free taxi ride in the name of Raj Kapoor. After this the PM suggested an idea and asked if a work could be done. Making a film specifically about Central Asia that touches the hearts and minds of the people there. Raj Sahib is still in the hearts of people. Central Asia is a huge power, so we should try to create a link.
Rima said that like Raj Kapoor, Nana was a cultural ambassador. But our Prime Minister has put us on the global map. Every member of our family is very proud of you. After this the PM said that he talked about the impact of yoga, to which Riddhima said that she, mother Neetu and Kareena are very interested in yoga. Armaan said that he is also producing a film inspired by Nana Raj Kapoor.
When the Prime Minister watched the film after losing the election The PM further spoke about the power of films and said that there was an election for the Jana Sangh in which they lost. But to get out of it, he went to watch a movie, which was Raj Kapoor's film 'Phir Subah Hoagi'. PM Modi said – Two Jana Sangh leaders who lost the election went to watch the movie, 'Phir Subah Hogi' and that morning is today. I was in China and your father had a song, so I told my friends – record it in your mobile phone and send it to Rishi (Kapoor) sir. They were very happy.
Alia Bhatt said that when you went to Africa, a song from my film was sung there, which we all loved. But I have seen a lot that even if people don't understand Hindi, many people listen. Raj Kapoorji's songs are still heard today. People connect with the song. Along with this, Alia asked PM Modi whether he listens to the songs. So he said – sometimes I listen if possible.
Prime Minister met Saif's father Saif praised PM Modi and said that you have opened doors for us. You are the first Prime Minister I have met. I am very grateful. Then the PM said that I have met your father (Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi). I thought I would meet the third generation today, but you didn't bring the third generation. Ranbir further said that in memory of Raj Kapoorji, he has selected 10 of his best films which will be premiered on December 13th in Mumbai, to which the entire film industry has been invited. The video also showed a glimpse of the gift given to the PM by the Kapoor family, where Riddhima presented her hand-made gift.
