Comedian Sunil Pal Kidnapping Case: Both the crooks who bought the jewelery turned out to be from Bijnor, Meerut Police got a CCTV breakthrough

Meerut police has got a big success in the kidnapping case of famous comedian Sunil Pal. The miscreants who bought the jewelery as ransom from both the jewelers have been identified. The miscreants are Lavi Pal and Arjun Karnwal, residents of Bijnor. The police raided to arrest him but he was found to be absconding.

At the same time, the taxi driver who brought Sunil Pal from Delhi has also been taken into custody by the police. He says that Sunil Pal said that he is coming after some time but then he did not come. The police are interrogating him.

Police investigation has revealed that comedian Mushtaq Khan was kidnapped 19 days back and money was extorted in the name of the event. The police team is also investigating from this angle.

Both the kidnappers have been caught on CCTV cameras.

The incident was carried out at Rangrut Dhaba. Sunil Pal told the police – He reached Darbhanga in Bihar by flight at 7.30 on December 1. There his show was held from 8 to 10 pm during the Madhubani Mohotsav. After that rested for the night at Hotel Jalsa in Madhubani. Spoke to Anil who organized the Haridwar event at 8.30 pm on 2nd December on call. After which he took a flight from Bihar and reached Delhi.

He said – Anil sent the Innova from the parking lot in which he left for Haridwar. At that time Anil got a call. He sent a photo of Kankarkheda's Rangaroot Dhaba on WhatsApp asking him to stop. After a while some people came in a Scorpio and a Swift car. After getting down from the car, a young man said, I am your fan. He was then introduced to the two people sitting in the car and made them sit inside.

The police team worked hard throughout the day On Monday i.e. 9th December, 10 police teams scanned the CCTV footage from the highway to Begumpul. Investigation revealed that both the criminals who bought jewelery from Radhe Shyam Jewelers and Akash Ganga Jewelers were the same.

He stayed in Begumpul and Lalkurti area for 6 hours. Apart from this, he also wanted to buy jewelery from a third jeweller, but as there were no gold coins, he again reached Akash Ganga's showroom.

Vijay Aggarwal of Bullion Association reached the showroom of Anand Radhe Shyam Jewelers on Monday.

After the kidnapping of Sunil Pal, the kidnappers collected the ransom money in movie style. He deposited the ransom money in the accounts of two prominent jewelers of Meerut. Police investigation has revealed that the kidnappers deposited Rs. 2.30 lakh and in Akash Ganga Jewellers' account Rs. 4.15 lakhs were transferred.

Later, the kidnappers bought jewelery from the same jeweller's shop. After this, Sunil Pal was released on the night of 3 December. Vijay Aggarwal of Bullion Association reached the showroom of Anand Radhe Shyam Jewelers on Monday.

Akshit Jain, a jeweler here, said that he sold jewelery like a normal customer. He did not know who the customer was. Jewelery was sold on fixed bills as per rules.

Learn more about the case According to comedian Sunil Pal, he was invited to an event in Haridwar on the night of 2 December. Sunil Pal reached Delhi by flight from Mumbai. Sunil Pal was kidnapped between Delhi and Meerut. The kidnappers brought Sunil Pal to Meerut. He was blindfolded and kept in Meerut.

A ransom of 8 lakhs was demanded by calling friends. The entire ransom amount was collected online. After this, the miscreants took from Akash Ganga Jewelers in Begampul Rs. 4 lakh and from Akshit Singhal's shop in Jawahar Quarter Rs. 2.25 lakhs worth of jewelery was purchased. Bills were drawn in the name of Sunil Pal at both the places. A copy of Sunil Pal's Aadhaar card and PAN card was also provided.

The money was transferred online from Sunil Pal's mobile to the jeweller's account. After committing the crime, the miscreants fled leaving Sunil Pal on the road.

According to Sunil Pal, 16 days ago a young man named Anil called and identified himself as the director of an event company. He asked Sunil to come to an event in Haridwar. For this some amount was also transferred to Sunil Pal.

When Sunil reached Delhi on 2nd December, the event company sent a car to take him to Haridwar. When he stopped at a dhaba on the way, three young men approached him as his admirers. A young man told them that he had bought a new car. He took Sunil to his car and asked him to see the car from inside. As soon as Sunil got into the car, the accused took him hostage.

20 or else give 10 lakhs… 'I told him I didn't have that much money. Badmasho said- We know you are a famous comedian, how can you lack so much money. 20 if not give 10 lakhs. Then asking about the ATM card, I said that I don't have the card.

The miscreants called the wife and asked for money. On this I told him – don't call home. Those people will be disturbed. I ask for money by talking to friends.

Sunil Pal said – They also gave me 20 thousand rupees for the return ticket Sunil Pal further said – on December 3, the crooks demanded a ransom of 8 lakh rupees online. After receiving the money, the crooks gave me 20,000 rupees for the flight ticket. After this they dropped me at Lalkurti Police Station area.

A case was opened after the account was seized As soon as Sunil Pal reached Mumbai, the police there questioned him. He told the whole thing. After this, the Mumbai Police seized the two accounts from which Kindpar had demanded money. On December 5, jeweler businessman Akshit Singhal reached Axis Bank to deposit money. The bank manager told him that his account was frozen on the complaint of the Maharashtra Police. No transactions can be made from your account. Only then did the whole matter come to light.

Deposit 4 times through online transactions Akshit said during questioning – I have a firm named New Radhe Lal Ram Avatar Saraf in Jawahar quarter. On December 3, at 12 noon, two young men came to the shop. He asked to show the gold chain and coins.

The young man gave Rs 10,000 and asked you to pack both the coins and the chain. We will deposit the remaining money into your account online. After that both took the account number of the firm and left without taking the chain or coins.

A transaction of Rs.50 thousand was made in the firm's account at 1.35 pm. Then 80 thousand rupees entered the account at 2:12 pm, 50 thousand rupees at 2:18 pm and 50 thousand rupees at 4:17 pm. A total of Rs. 2 lakh 30 thousand was paid. After this, the young man called and informed that the money has been transferred.

Gold coins and chains were taken Akshit further said – After this sent screenshots of the transaction on WhatsApp. Both the youths reached the shop at 6 pm. He liked 2 gold coins of 10 grams, a chain of 7.240 grams. The bill for all three was Rs 2,25,500. The youth gave the Aadhaar card and PAN card and got the bill in the name of Sunil Pal.

The remaining 4500 rupees were taken from the money paid online. At around 8:17 pm, my mobile phone rang. The caller identified himself as an officer of Mumbai Police Santacruz Police Station. He said that the amount transferred to your account is in the form of ransom.

I told him the whole thing about buying jewellery. The caller asked to give the transaction ID and number of both the youths. I gave this information to the in-charge of Lalkurti Police Station. The station in-charge asked me not to share anything.

Such scams are going on nowadays. The whole matter came to light as the account was seized. Similarly, these two miscreants stole from Akash Ganga Jewelers Rs. Jewelery worth 4 lakh 15 thousand was bought. The payment was also made using Sunil Pal's Aadhaar card and PAN.
