Toyota Innova High Cross goes up by ₹36,000: MPV gets 21.1kmpl mileage with powerful hybrid engine, starting price at ₹19.94 lakh

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has increased the price of its popular hybrid car Toyota Innova Hicross. The entry-level GX and GX (O) variants of this multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) have now become more expensive by Rs 17,000, while the top variant of the MPV has been increased by Rs 36,000.

After the price hike, its ex-showroom price will now start at Rs 19.94 lakh and go up to Rs 31.34 lakh. The new prices will be effective from January 1. Now that the new prices of the Innova High Cross have been announced, soon the company will announce the new prices of its other models as well.

The company offers a standard warranty of 3 years or 1,00,000 km with the Hycross and an optional extended warranty of 5 years or 2,20,000 km. Apart from this, the hybrid battery comes with a warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000 km.

It is a self-charging robust hybrid electric vehicle (SHEV). The company launched it in India on 28 December 2022. The Innova Hicross comes in 6 variants – GX, GX (O), VX, VX (O), ZX and ZX(O). It has the option of 7 and 8 seat configuration.

Performance: Mileage of 21.1kmpl and power of 172hp As for performance, the Toyota Innova Hicross is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, which generates 172hp of power and 205Nm of torque. This engine is tuned with a CVT automatic gearbox.

Apart from this, the higher variants of the car get a strong hybrid system with this engine, which gives a mileage of 21.1kmpl and a range of 1097km on a full tank. It can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 9.5 seconds.

The new TNGA 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with CVT delivers 174hp. While the 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol-hybrid engine with E-Drive has a maximum power of 186hp.

Exterior: Overall SUV-centric design The Innova Hicross has an overall SUV-centric design. It gets a large new front grille, which is flanked by attractive LED headlamps. At the front, the grille has a new chrome garnish that runs through the center. New faux silver skid plates are provided on the front and rear bumpers.

It has 18 inch alloy wheels. Wraparound LED tail-lamps are available at the rear of the Hicross. Talking about the dimensions of the Innova Hicross, it is bigger in size than the Innova Crysta. The Innova Hicross is 20mm long, 20mm wide and has a 100mm wheelbase.

Interior: 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system The Innova HiCross comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, 9-speaker JBL audio system, power ottoman seats in the second row, mood lighting and a powered tailgate. Apart from this, the car has features like wireless Apple CarPlay, dual-zone automatic climate control, front parking sensors, 360 degree view camera, rear sunshade, front LED fog lamps and rear defogger.

Safety features: 6 airbags and dynamic radar cruise control The Innova Hicross comes with the Toyota Safety Sense suite, which includes dynamic radar cruise control, auto high beam, lane change assist, blind spot monitor, 6 airbags, electronic parking brake, panoramic view monitor with dynamic back guide, ABS with EBD and rear disc. happens Many cool features like brakes are included.
