External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar spoke on several issues ranging from India's defense policy at a private event. He said that India is no longer the same. No action was taken on the 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai in 2008. We responded to Pakistan when Uri and Balakot attacks took place.
Speaking in the program, the Foreign Minister said-
India is now a can-do nation. The youth have confidence in their abilities. This is the generation that is raising the profile of India from scientific achievements to infrastructure and high technology.
We have a strong decision regarding PM
S Jaishankar said that this is a very special time as the Indian External Affairs Minister. I have worked with many governments in my life. Now we have a PM who takes strong decisions to modernize India. Looking at their decisions, this is a very special time. It is an honor for me to be a part of it.
The most important thing is that we have become an India in which India is more.
S Jaishankar said that we have a PM who takes strong decisions.
Now Indians hope to become a developed India Jaishankar said that now India's success is not limited to upper class or big cities. Today our politics, civil services, sports and journalists cover every part of the country. Our democracy has also succeeded in creating a level playing field for the people.
Jaishankar said – Today our trade has increased from 40 billion dollars to 800 billion dollars. Indians now hope to become a developed India. This is a trend that was not so strong even a decade ago.
Meanwhile, he also mentioned India's journey from being a $250 billion economy in 1991-92 to becoming a $4 trillion economy today.
