A look at the whole matter… On December 2, 10 organizations of the United Kisan Morcha announced a march to Delhi with their four demands. After being reassured by the officials, the farmers gave 7 days time and moved the agitation to the Dalit Prerna place in Noida. After this, the police stopped the farmers from coming to Dalit Prerna place. Along with this, 123 farmers including 8 farmer leaders were arrested.
On December 4, the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Tikait) called a Mahapanchayat to free the farmers. Rakesh Tikaitan, who was going to participate in the Mahapanchayat, was stopped by the police administration at Tappal in Aligarh.
After this, the farmers announced from the panchayat that if Rakesh is not released within 1 hour, a fierce agitation will be carried out. Seeing the protest of the farmers, the police released Rakesh Tikait. Tikait fled from there and reached the Yamuna Expressway.
The police kept running behind. However, he left for Greater Noida by car. However, he could not reach the protest site.
