What happened till now after the result?
23 November: Maharashtra assembly results are out. Mahayuti won 230 seats. BJP won 132 seats, Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) 57 and NCP (Ajit Pawar) 41 seats. Shinde said- the three parties will decide the CM together. Fadnavis said that Ek Hai To Seif Hai.
25 November: The formula of 1 Chief Minister and 2 Deputy Chief Ministers was decided. A formula of one ministerial post for every 6-7 MLAs has emerged in Mahayutti parties. According to this, 22-24 MLAs from BJP, 10-12 from Shinde group and 8-10 from Ajit group can become ministers.
November 27: Acting CM Eknath Shinde held a press conference in Thane. He said that we accept the Chief Minister of BJP. I have no desire for a position. When I was Chief Minister, Modiji stood with me. Now whatever decision they take will be accepted.
November 28: Eknath Shinde, Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar held a meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda in Delhi for about two and a half hours. Shinde met Shah alone for half an hour. The high command has offered Shinde a deputy CM or a ministerial post at the Centre.
29 November: Mahayuti meeting was adjourned. Eknath Shinde suddenly went to Satara. Shiv Sena is demanding home and finance ministries in exchange for the post of chief minister. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Shirsat said – if Shinde does not accept the post of Deputy CM, another face of the party will take over this post.
30 November: The date of the swearing-in ceremony has been announced. Ajit Pawar made it clear that the CM will be from BJP and the Deputy CM from Shiv Sena-NCP.
December 1: Shinde stayed in his native village Satara for two days. On November 30, his health deteriorated. Doctors from Mumbai treated him. On Sunday, he went to a temple in Satara. Talking to the media after some time, he said – I came here to rest after the busy election program. I will accept whatever decision PM Modi and Shah take as CM.
December 2: BJP appointed Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani as observers for Maharashtra. BJP state president Chandrasekhar Bawankule reviewed the preparations for the swearing-in ceremony at Azad Maidan. Shinde's meeting with MLAs was canceled after doctors' advice. MLAs Sanjay Shirsat and Girish Mahajan met Shinde.
December 3: Eknath Shinde returned to Mumbai from Thane after four days. Fadnavis met him for half an hour in the evening. Shinde held a meeting with Shiv Sena MLAs.
