European agency claims: Russia is now busy spreading chaos in European countries that helped Ukraine

  • Russia is carrying out attacks with the help of local youth

The Russia-Ukraine war has been going on for more than three and a half years and is still raging. Yet European countries stand by Ukraine and are paying the price. The British newspaper 'The Independent' has revealed in its report that in the last 12 months, Russian President Vladimir Putin has started a secret campaign against Western countries.

Recently there were cargo plane crashes in Lithuania, false bomb alerts at London Airport and the US Embassy. A drone was spotted near a US Air Force base in Britain. An explosion at a weapons factory in Wales, a cable break in the Baltic Sea, an assassination attempt on the CEO of an arms manufacturing company in Germany. Television satellites were damaged across Europe.

Arsonist confesses in Europe – Russia paid Ken McCallum, director of Britain's secret agency MI5, said last month that aggressive action was needed to stop the attack. Russian military secret agency Gru is on a mission to wreak havoc on European roads. Bruno Kahl, the head of Germany's foreign intelligence service, said this week that the risk of Russia's hybrid activities had increased significantly. NATO countries should consider invoking Article 5 (an attack on one member state is an attack on all). Jonathan Hall Casey, an independent reviewer of British terrorism laws, says Russia's intelligence campaign poses a major challenge. On the other hand, those accused of arson and murder for Russia in Europe have admitted in court that Russia paid them. In March, 23-year-old Jack Reeves pleaded guilty to arson in return for receiving benefits from a foreign intelligence service. The Elmesthorpe arsonist admitted in court that he had done it on Wagner's instructions.

Russia is carrying out attacks with the help of dissident European-criminal gangs The KGB was involved in everything from espionage and propaganda to sabotage and assassination in Europe. After war broke out in Ukraine in late February 2022 and Russian tanks crossed the border into Russia, Russia stepped up the hybrid campaign. Russia recruited domestically for its spies in Europe. Under this, European dissidents and criminal gangs were helped to target those in Europe who aided Ukraine.

NATO countries need to unite against Russia now, create a central command Oleksandr Danilyuk, head of Ukraine's foreign intelligence service, says the political leadership is largely in denial of the problem. The first step is to recognize that Russia is engaged in a secret war against the West and that the war has reached a violent stage. It is very important that an international platform similar to the one established during the war on terrorism focused on Islamic terrorism in Europe is created. European Union and NATO countries should establish a central command as soon as possible to counter the attack.
