Meteorological department forecast: Coldwave for few days this time: snowfall in Gulmarg; Pollution in Delhi reduced due to strong winds

The cold wave will last only a few days this winter. The temperature will also be normal in many parts of the country from December to January-February. The Meteorological Department has predicted cold weather on Monday.

According to the Meteorological Department, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Gujarat may experience 2 to 6 days of cold wave days in the next three months.

Also, except in the mountainous states, the chances of coldwave days in December are very low. Rainfall will be less in North West, North East also.

Meanwhile, pollution in Delhi-NCR is still at alarming levels. AQI was recorded at 308 here till 9 am on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, there was snowfall in Gulmarg and Sonmarg of Jammu and Kashmir last night. The mercury touched 10° in some districts of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

3 South Indian states of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala have received heavy rains due to Cyclone Fangal. In the last 4 days, 12 people have been claimed dead due to the cyclone in Tamil Nadu.

The Meteorological Department says that pollution will reduce due to strong winds blowing in Delhi NCR areas. There is no chance of temperature drop in Delhi for the next 24 hours. However, light rains from December 5 may increase the chill.

The effects of Cyclone Fangal are still lingering in UP. This type of weather may remain in the state till December 7.

Chhattisgarh: Chance of rain for 4 days, cooling due to humidity

Cloudy weather will remain in the districts of Bastar division for the next 4 days. Light rain is also possible. Due to moisture in the atmosphere, the night temperature has increased. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature may increase by 1-2 degrees in the next 2 days. After that the cooling phase will start again.
