'People won't let new govt form in Maharashtra': Massive protests against EVMs after election results, thousands hit the streets; Know Fact Check of Viral Post

Mahayuti has achieved a big victory in the Maharashtra assembly elections. Mahayuti has won 230 out of 288 seats. BJP won 132 seats, Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) 57 and NCP (Ajit Pawar) 41 seats. At the same time, the Congress-led Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) ended up with 46 seats.

A video is being shared on social media after the assembly election results. In the video, a large crowd of people are protesting by sitting on the road. In the video, the crowd can be heard shouting slogans like remove EVMs, bring ballot paper.

An X user named Archana Chaube shared the video and wrote- Remove EVM, bring ballot paper. The thing to note is that the user posted this 1 February 2024 was shared on At the same time, assembly elections in Maharashtra were held on 20 November and the results were declared on 23 November.
