Actress Jia Khan went to Sooraj Pancholi Jail in the suicide case and was acquitted in the year 2023. Now Zarina Wahab said in an interview of 'Lehren Retro' that Jia Khan had tried to commit suicide many times before. He also expressed his pain about the impact on his son's career.
Zareena Wahab spoke about Jia's death during an interview. He said, 'She had tried 4-5 times before. But as luck would have it, all this happened when it was my son's turn. This case also dealt a big blow to my son's career.' He said, 'We've all been through bad times. But one thing I believe is that if you ruin someone's life by telling a lie, you take it like a loan because you have to pay it back with interest.
What did Zarina say about Jiah Khan? Zarina continued, 'This is called karma. We waited because he was not guilty. And it took 10 years. But he has come out of it and I am happy. This has badly affected Suraj's career. Everyone knows what she (Jia) used to do. I don't want to open my mouth. I don't want to lower myself by speaking.'
Suraj spent 22 days in jail after the death of Jiah Khan Jia Khan reportedly committed suicide on June 3, 2013. His mother found his body in her Mumbai home. Later, Suraj Pancholi was arrested for abetting suicide. He also spent 22 days in jail.
