Priyanka Gandhi reached the Lok Sabha for the first time on Thursday after winning the election from Kerala's Wayanad. He was sworn in as an MP. Priyanka took oath in Hindi. Meanwhile, like Rahul, he also had a copy of the constitution in his hand.
When Priyanka reached Parliament, Congress leaders welcomed her outside. Before entering the house, brother Rahul stopped him and said – “Stop, stop, stop… let me take your photo…”

Priyanka reached Parliament wearing Kerala's famous 'Kasavu' saree. Along with Rahul and Sonia, Priyanka's husband Robert Vadra was also present in Parliament. After the oath, Priyanka took the blessings of Congress president Kharge.
For the first time, three members of the Gandhi family are present in Parliament. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul is MP from Rae Bareli in UP and Priyanka is MP from Wayanad in Kerala. While Sonia is a Rajya Sabha member from Rajasthan.

The famous Kasavu saree of Kerala is plain white in color. It has a golden border. In the royal version of the saree, this border is made with real gold thread. A saree takes 3 to 5 days to make and costs between ₹5,000 and ₹5 lakh.

Rahul left the Wayanad seat, Priyanka won from there and became MP Priyanka has won the Lok Sabha election from the Wayanad seat in Kerala. Rahul Gandhi won the Lok Sabha elections from both Rae Bareli and Wayanad seats. After this he left the Wayanad seat. Congress made Priyanka Gandhi its candidate from there. This was Priyanka Gandhi's first election. He defeated CPI's Satyan Mokeri by 4 lakh 10 thousand votes. BJP's Navya Haridas (1 lakh 9 thousand votes) stood third.
Although Priyanka registered a big win from Wayanad, she could not break her brother Rahul's 5-year-old record of victory. Rahul defeated CPI(M)'s PP Sunir by a margin of 4 lakh 31 thousand votes in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Priyanka had written a letter saying that I will strengthen the relationship between Rahul and Wayanad.
After filing his nomination on 23 October during the Wayanad by-election, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra wrote an open letter to the people of Wayanad saying that she would strengthen the relationship between Rahul and Wayanad. In a letter shared on X, he wrote – This will be my first visit as a public representative, but not my first visit as a fighter.
