Aamir Khan has praised Bollywood superstar Salman Khan for one of his famous and superhit films. He revealed how Salman Khan helped him with the title of the film 'Dangal'.
Aamir said this interesting thing during a press conference. Aamir was seen here talking about superstar Salman Khan. He said that Salman had helped him get the rights to the title of one of his films.
“I called Salman and said – I want the title of 'Dangal'.” The 'PK' actor said, 'I have to thank Salman for the title of my film Dangal. I don't know if you know this or not, but the Dangal title was already written in the script. However, when we checked, its rights were with Puneet Issar. I knew Salman was very close to Puneet, so I called Salman and said – I want the Dangal title, can you arrange a meeting between me and Puneet?'
Salman himself called Puneet and talked about the title of this film. He further said, 'It was actually Salman who called Puneet and said that he wants this title. Even though at that time our films were clashing with each other. He was making 'Sultan' and people were saying that we were competing with each other because both were doing wrestling films. Salman really helped us and played a big role in getting us the title 'Dangal'. He called Puneet and Puneet and I met.
'Punit said I don't use it' Aamir continued, 'Puneet said I'm not using it, you guys can take it and that's how we got the name 'Dangal' for our film.'
