Today i.e. 28th November Sensex is trading at 80,281 with an increase of 40 points. The Nifty is also trading up 10 points at 24,270.
Out of 30 stocks in Sensex, 17 are up and 13 are down. Out of 50 stocks in Nifty, 27 are rising and 23 are falling. Selling is seen in the IT and auto sectors of NSE.
Asian markets decline
- In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei was up 0.42% and Korea's Kospi was up 0.12%. While China's Shanghai Composite Index is trading with a decline of 0.24%.
- On November 27, the US Dow Jones closed down 0.31% at 44,722 and the S&P 500 closed down 0.38% at 5,998. The Nasdaq also fell 0.60% to close at 19,060.
- According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) bought shares worth ₹7.78 crore on November 27. Meanwhile, domestic investors (DIIs) also bought shares worth ₹1,301.97 crore.
Security Diagnostic's IPO opens tomorrow
Initial Public Offer (IPO) of Suraksha Diagnostics Limited will open tomorrow i.e. 29th November. Investors can bid for this issue till December 3. The company's shares will be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on December 6.
Yesterday the market saw a boom
Earlier yesterday i.e. on 27th November, the Sensex rose 230 points to close at 80,234. Also, the Nifty gained 80 points to close at 24,274.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 16 rose and 14 fell. Auto, IT and energy stocks were the biggest gainers. Adani Enterprises was the top gainer on the Nifty.
