Arjun Kapoor recently shared a funny incident related to his debut film 'Ishaqzaade'. In this film, Parineeti Chopra was seen in the lead role along with the actor. However, Arjun was not happy with his casting. The actor said- I thought Parineeti was a talkative girl, so I didn't want to cast her.
Arjun said- Parineeti's reading was also bad Arjun Kapoor in a conversation with Mashable India said – I was not at all happy when Parineeti was cast for the film. I was against her casting because she spoke too much and her reading was bad.
Arjun continued – As soon as Parineeti came, I told a joke. But instead of laughing at it, Parineeti said like gen-z people – LOL, I thought can't just laugh at this. This is not a chat or just said LOL. Since then I started getting more irritated.

She used to talk like Gen-Z- Arjun Arjun further said that Parineeti used to talk in emojis on chat, using a lot of emojis like Gen-Z while messaging. Which made me think it wasn't serious.
Arjun joked – 'I was waiting for 6 months to meet Zoya (name of Parineeti's character in Ishaqzaade) from my film, but Zoya came on set and was saying LOL-LOL. I thought my career was over. This girl is not interested in film. I also judged Parineeti's acting. I thought she has just arrived, first she was working in Yashraj films, then after getting a film with Ranveer Singh, she is considering herself as a big star.
Arjun was amazed to see Parineeti's skill Arjun Kapoor said- I was shocked when the mock shoot took place. Seeing Parineeti's skills, I forgot the lines and acting that I had memorized for months. I saw the sparkle in Parineeti's eyes when the shoot started. Then I thought he would do it.
