Manipur- Postmortem reports of 3 abductees revealed: 3-year-old child shot in head, chest wound; One arm was also broken

A sensational revelation has taken place on Sunday amidst the ongoing curfew in 5 districts of Manipur. On November 11, Kuki militants abducted and killed six Maitei people (three women, three children) from Jiribam. Out of which the postmortem reports of 3 bodies have come. According to this, all the bodies were in very bad condition, two women had been shot multiple times.

Among these dead bodies was that of a 3-year-old child, Chingkhenganba. Doctors found a bullet wound in the child's head. Part of the brain and the right eye were missing. It is being speculated that the child was shot in the head at close range, causing part of his brain to blow out. There were stab wounds on his chest and body and fractures in his arms.

There is fear of rising tension in Manipur after the post mortem report. So, late on Sunday evening, the state government withdrew the order to open schools and colleges in the five curfew districts of Imphal Valley and Jiribam. Schools and colleges were to be opened here from today.

All the 6 people seen in the picture belonged to the Maitei community. At present only 3 (red circle) postmortem reports are available.

When 6 dead bodies reached Jiribam from Silchar in Assam, the family could not control themselves.

All these 6 dead bodies were buried together in Jiribam.

On November 16, the bodies of three women and three children were recovered from the river.

CM said- This is happening in Manipur, I am ashamed Manipur Police on Sunday said that 7 people have been arrested in the last two days in connection with arson and looting of houses of MLAs. Three people were arrested on November 22 from Kakching district. On November 23, 4 people were arrested from Imphal West. The total number of arrests has reached 41.

On November 22, CM N Biren Singh said that the people involved in the arson and looting have been identified. Legal action is being taken against them. He said that I am ashamed to say in public that such incidents are happening in Manipur.
