The third day of the SFA Championship in Ahmedabad was the chess board. Where young players were seen playing brain games with strategy and clarity. A large number of players in various age groups participated in the chess tournament. In which Nagori Krishvi of Red Bricks School won the gold medal in the under-7 girls category. While Atman Rawal of Global Indian International School, Godrej Garden City emerged victorious in the Under-15 Boys category.
Ryan Undukt of Apollo International School, Bhopal topped the U-7 boys final. While in the girls category, Arya Shameet of Udgam School, Ahmedabad won the U-13 girls final. Meanwhile, 'Coach's Day' was celebrated in the championship on Friday. Which was dedicated to the coaches who took the career of the young athletes in the right direction and organized some special activities on this day keeping in mind their hard work. Under which the importance of the coach in the life of the players was highlighted.
Sports like Athletics, Badminton, Football, Chess, Kabaddi, Karate, Swimming, Kho-Kho, Basketball, Table Tennis, Volleyball and Yoga are participating in the SFA Championship. Friday's games also included football, basketball, tennis, kabaddi, kho-kho, volleyball and badminton. In which the team of Kendriya Vidyalaya Vafsar became the winner in the under-14 boys kho-kho tournament. The players showed great team work and tenacity to win gold. Meanwhile, the athletes of the skating tournament performed brilliantly. On the rink, young players put on a performance trying to take their skating skills to the next level. The varied skills of the players were seen in the championship.
