'No more stones, bullets will rain.' This is not the first time a journalist has received such a threat. However, while some people are easily intimidated on such occasions, some go to any lengths to uncover the truth and Joy Baig (Manoj Bajpayee) is one such fearless journalist. The official teaser of director Kanu Bahl's 'Dispatch' has been released, a close look at investigative journalism.
The 87-second promo video begins with the glass of Joey's apartment window shattering as he shares a drink with someone. Surprised, he hides in a corner. He finds that large stones are being thrown at his windows. After a while he gets a call from a number threatening him, 'pack everything and go home. Now!' However, undaunted by the threat, Joey searches for the truth.
Teaser of 'Dispatch' When it comes to know that this phone case revolves around an 8,000 crore rupees scam, the story takes a new twist. A dialogue is heard, 'Joy sir, there will be many cases against you, it will take you seven generations and 150 years to fight them.' However, Joy confidently replied, 'Once the story is out.' The teaser ends here.
'Dispatch' release date Written by Ishani Banerjee and Kanu Bahl, 'Dispatch' is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and RSVP Movies. While the cinematography of the film is handled by Siddharth Dewan and its editing is done by Samarth Dixit. 'Dispatch' will premiere on December 13 on ZEE5.
