The makers of Bigg Boss have taken an important step towards environmental protection. Under this set, the use of plastic has been banned. Henceforth no contestant or crew member will use plastic bottles on set. 800 crew members will use steel bottles instead of plastic bottles, avoiding the use of approximately 7,50,000 plastic bottles.
Along with this, water dispensers have been installed on the sets and biodegradable paper cups have been provided for guests and crew. This move will not only reduce plastic waste, but also prove to be a positive step towards sustainability in the entertainment industry.
