The mother of the actress Madhu Chopra herself revealed this. He says that when daughter Priyanka made her debut in Bollywood, he came to know the dark truth of the industry.
In a conversation with Breaking Stereotypes, Priyanka Chopra's mother Madhu Chopra spoke about the early days of the actress' career. He said, 'The film industry was completely new to us. We had many hopes in our eyes. I don't think it's a bad or difficult place because we didn't have any negative thoughts. When we actually entered the industry, we came to know about its dark reality, which was a bit disappointing at first.
Madhu Chopra said, 'We were scared seeing all this. However, despite all these difficulties, Priyanka did not give up. It also reduced our fear. I remember one day Priyanka sat us down and said, Ma, you know me very well, so don't pay attention to all this nonsense. Then slowly everything got better.
On the work front, Priyanka was seen in 'Citadel' in 2023. She is now gearing up for the action-comedy film 'Heads of State'. Apart from this, she is also working in 'Citadel 2'.
