Russia Conducted 210 Missile-Drone Attacks on Ukraine: Report Claims – US Allowed Ukraine to Use Long-Range Missiles

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shared a video of the damage caused by the Russian attack on Ukraine.

Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine late Sunday night with 120 missiles and 90 drones. Russian attack targets Ukraine's power system. Many power plants and transformers have been badly damaged, following which a power cut has been announced in the country.

To improve power infrastructure, Ukraine's state power operator Ukrainergo has announced two power cuts for several hours on Monday from 6 am to 10 pm.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said a nine-story residential building in Ukraine was hit by a Russian missile. In which civilians including children were killed. According to the BBC, a total of 10 people have been killed in the Russian attack so far.

In the attacks, ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones targeted several parts of Ukraine, including the capital Kyiv, Donetsk, Lviv, Odessa. In its defense, Ukraine shot down 140 Russian missiles and drones.

America allowed Ukraine to use long-range missiles

After Russia's attack on Ukraine, America has allowed Ukraine to use long-range missiles. The New York Times, citing American officials, has confirmed that the US has approved the use of the Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) by Ukraine.

This missile can target targets up to a distance of 300 km. Ukraine could use it against Russian and North Korean troops. Joe Biden made this big decision before the new President Donald Trump took office.

Due to Russia's involvement in the war with North Korea, the US has decided to allow the use of long-range missiles. However, President Zelensky has not yet confirmed receiving any such approval. He said – Today many people are talking in the media that we have been allowed to take appropriate action, but the attacks are not done with words. Such matters are not disclosed.

Russia's president said approval would mean NATO's entry into the war

For some time, the US and Britain were considering allowing Ukraine to use long-range missiles. Russian President Putin has warned that allowing the use of such weapons would mean that NATO has gone to war against Russia. He said that if this happens, he will give a definite answer.

Putin said that if Ukraine gets permission to use long-range weapons, it will understand that NATO has joined the war.

Putin said on a state TV channel that this would change a lot. He said that the use of these weapons is not possible without satellites. Ukraine does not have such technology. This can only be done with the help of European Union satellites or American satellites.

Putin further said that only NATO forces have been trained to use this missile system. Ukrainian troops cannot operate these missiles.

1000 days of war are about to end

On 24 February 2022, the Russian army entered the Ukrainian border with tanks. War was declared from this day itself. One thousand days of this war will be completed on Tuesday, November 9.

Meanwhile, global leaders are meeting in Brazil for the G20 summit. Zelensky appealed to them not to ignore the issue of the Ukraine-Russia war.
