Can the soul be seen? Can even the subtle body be seen? Soul and subtle body as defined cannot be seen by gross senses. The subtle body is made up of the five pranavayus, the five karmandriyas, the five jnanendriyas, the mind, the intellect and the ego. This body gives the subtle body made up of these eighteen elements the covering it needs to manifest its existence in that loka in other words level. This body is also called Bhuvanaj Deh. This sheath or body remains with the subtle body until it assumes a new gross body. Based on this, it is clear that subtle body has mind, intellect and karmendraya sense organs but not body. There are rites for the victim but not the means. He receives this instrument in the form of this earthly body. It is clear here that the various lokas and the forms of the souls of the various castes living there are mentioned in the scriptures. So, the soul with the subtle body can be seen and felt in the earthly body of airy light or sky. So the soul is not visible but can be measured with this body. It cannot be said that every occurrence of ghosts and apparitions is true, but it cannot be said that this is not the case either.
