Navneet throws chairs at Rana
According to the information, some people present in the rally started commotion and vandalism. Meanwhile, chairs were also thrown at Navneet Rana, in which he survived. After the incident, Navneet Rana reached Khallar police station and filed a complaint. This incident has raised serious questions on the security arrangements of the rally. The police have started an investigation into the matter and are closely monitoring the situation. There is tension in the area after this incident.
There were chants of 'Allah Hu Akbar'
Navneet Rana has alleged that while she was addressing the gathering, some people made dirty gestures at her and shouted 'Allah hu Akbar'. As soon as Rana finished his speech, chairs were thrown at him. After this there was an uproar in the meeting. Navneet Rana said that his security personnel took him safely to the vehicle, but the violent mob tried to assault him by abusing him.
Rana has filed a complaint against 40 to 50 unknown people at the police station. He has warned that if the accused are not arrested soon, Hindu organizations will stage an agitation. Police have registered a case and started investigation in this matter. An appeal has been made not to heed any rumour. The police have said that strict action will be taken against those who do this. Police and administration have appealed to people to maintain peace.
The threat was received last month
Last month in October, a threatening letter was sent to former MP Navneet Rana and a demand of Rs 10 crore was made. After the complaint of Navneet Rana, the police have registered a case and started investigation. A person named Aamir sent a letter to the former MP of Amravati by speed post demanding money. Rana's personal secretary Vinod Guhe has filed a formal complaint at the Rajapeth police station in Amravati, alleging that the letter was received by an employee at Rana's house on October 11.
