Threat to blow up Mumbai RBI with a bomb: Accused called customer care and said – I am the CEO of Lashkar; Mumbai police in action after threatening RBI

The customer care department of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) received a threatening call.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has received bomb threats. A person called the customer care number at RBI headquarters in Mumbai and threatened on Saturday morning. The accused described himself as the CEO of Lashkar-e-Taiba.

The customer care department of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) received a threatening call, after which the Mumbai police registered a case. The call was made to the Reserve Bank's customer care number at around 10 am on Saturday. The caller said he was the CEO of Lashkar-e-Taiba. The threatening person cut off the phone saying that the electric car had broken down, turn off the road behind.

The police started an investigation

Taking this incident seriously, the police have started an investigation. Taking the threatening calls seriously, a case has been registered against an unidentified person at MRA Marg police station as per the complaint given by the security guard of Reserve Bank of India.

According to officials, the Mumbai Police has started an investigation into the case. It is suspected that some mischievous elements have done this act. Police are currently investigating and awaited further details.

Mumbai airport was also threatened before this

Earlier there was a bomb threat to Mumbai airport. The CISF control room at the Mumbai Domestic Airport (T1) received a threat call on Wednesday afternoon, claiming that a person was carrying explosive material from Mumbai to Azerbaijan. This call created chaos at the airport. A CISF team immediately took the matter seriously and alerted the Sahar police station, following which a team of police personnel was deployed at the airport and a detailed investigation was launched. The caller did not specify a specific flight. Officials started investigating the call.
