Confirmed Shami to play against Kangaroos: Australia series win needed for WTC final, will Shami's entry after a year's rest benefit?

Indian fast bowler Mohammad Shami along with captain Rohit Sharma will leave for Australia for the Border Gavaskar Trophy. The five-match Test series will begin from November 22 in Perth. The decision about his inclusion in the team will be taken only after one match.

According to BCCI to Bhaskar Said that, Rohit can join the team before the Perth Test. Shami can also go to Australia with him. Rohit did not go to Australia with the team due to personal reasons. The rest of the team reached Australia on November 11.

Team India has reached Australia for the Border Gavaskar Trophy. The first Test will be played in Perth from November 22. The team will play 5 Test matches there.

After this, he did not play an international match since January this year, when he underwent a foot surgery in England. According to sources, Shamin has been included in the team to test his fitness. If he is fit, he may be sent to Australia for the Border Gavaskar Trophy. Physio Nitin Patel has also been sent to Indore to monitor his fitness.

Bengal coach Lakshmi Ratan Shukla said that after a year of playing cricket, things are not going to be easy, but looking at Shami's fitness level, it seems that the work she has done has been very good. He bowled 10 overs, in which his rhythm was very good.

Shukla said, “Looking at Shami, it looks like he can go on to play the match. The more he bowls, the better for him right now. There is a world of difference between bowling in the nets and bowling in a match.”

Rohit, who became a father for the second time, could go to Australia before the Perth Test Team India's Test and ODI captain Rohit has become a father for the second time. His wife Ritika Sajdeh gave birth to a son late on November 15.
