Bollywood actress Disha Patni's father and retired police officer Jagdish Patni was cheated of 25 lakh rupees. Money was taken from him in the name of getting higher posts in the government and making him chairman-vice chairman in the commission. In this case, a case has been registered against 5 people including the principal of the old arena.
Jagdish Patni was assured to return the money with interest if the work was not completed within 3 months. But even after 6 months nothing happened. Jagdish Patni neither got any post nor money back.

Retired Deputy SP Jagdish Patni lives in Civil Lines area of Bareilly. He says that Shivendra Pratap Singh is his acquaintance. Shivendra made him meet Diwakar Garg and Acharya Jai Prakash of the old Akhara. These people assured Jagdish Patni that they could help him get chairmanship, vice-chairmanship or other prestigious posts in government commissions.
Initially these people won the trust of Jagdish Patni by citing their big political contacts. He told Jagadish that he had many contacts who could appoint him to a higher position in the government.
A total of Rs. 25 lakhs taken, kept wandering for several months After this, the accused demanded Rs 25 lakh from Jagdish Patni. 5 lakh cash and transferred Rs 20 lakh to three different bank accounts. Even after this transaction, Jagdish Patni did not get any assurance that his work would be completed. When several months passed with no results, Jagdish Patni became suspicious.
Made a fake OSD of the minister and introduced him Meanwhile, to strengthen their plan, the accused introduced a person to Jagdish and called him Himanshu, OSD of the minister. The purpose of this meeting was to strengthen the confidence of Jagdish Patni. So that they do not hesitate to give more amount.
After 3 months of no action, Patni approached the accused. Initially they assured that the work was being done. Will be completed shortly. But, later he refused to return the money and started issuing threats.

Police complaint and legal action When Jagdish Patni became convinced that he had become a victim of fraud, he complained about it to the SSP. A case of cheating, forgery and intimidation was registered against Shivendra Pratap Singh, Diwakar Garg, Preeti Garg, Acharya Jai Prakash and OSD Himanshu at Kotwali police station on the orders of the SSP.
Inspector Kotwali DK Sharma said – the location of the accused is being identified. Strict action will be taken against them. Police have started an investigation. It is hoped that the accused will be arrested soon.
It is possible that the accused may have cheated not only the retired officer but also other people in this manner. Persons like Acharya Jai Prakash and Diwakar Garg took advantage of religious and political influence to perpetrate this fraud.
Jagdish Patni said that he was threatened for demanding the money back.
The SP said- the investigation of the case is going on SP City Manush Pareek said- Police has started a serious investigation in this matter. The police have checked the bank accounts and properties of the accused. It is also being seen whether the gang is involved in cheating others in the same way. According to the police, concrete evidence is being collected against the accused in this case, so that they can be convicted in the court.
