Karthik Aryan's 'Bhool Bhulaiyya 3' clashed with Ajay Devgn's 'Singham Again'. The film was released on November 1 on the occasion of Diwali. Recently, T-Series owner Bhushan Kumar has made serious allegations against Ajay Devgan and Rohit Shetty in an interview. He called Singham Again's team unfair. In a recent conversation with Connect Cine, Bhushan Kumar revealed, before the release of 'Bhool Bhulaiyya 3' and 'Singham Again', I had an argument with the team of Singham Again about sharing the screen equally.
I believed that both these films are big, so both should get equal screen space. I wanted to be impartial in this matter, but due to some personal interests it could not be done. Singham Again's team was unfair on this matter. However, I don't want to blame the theater chain, as they were the distributors of the second film and had some issues. Even after this he supported us.
Bhushan Kumar said, 'I suggested to start advance booking so that the response of the film can be seen. 'Bhool Bhoolaiyya 3' earned more than 36 crores despite being a big film. In fact, both the films earned well.
Regarding the clash between the films, Bhushan Kumar said that both the teams are trying to avoid a clash. But it was not possible to change the release date of any film. He told Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty that he had announced 'Bhool Bhoolaiya 3' earlier and had some deals with OTT platforms, so he could not push the film. The team of 'Singham Again' understood this, but they also had their own reasons as the theme of their film was related to Ramayana, and they couldn't miss a Diwali release.
T-Series went on strike on the title track of Singham Again When the title track of 'Singham Again' was released on YouTube, soon after T-Series issued a copyright strike on the video. T-Series claimed that the title track contained elements of the theme from the original 2011 film Singham, for which they owned the rights. After this, director Rohit Shetty had to remove the title track from all social media platforms. The song had to be re-edited and re-uploaded on YouTube.
According to media reports, the title track of 'Singham Again' features the theme of the film Singham for more than 10 seconds, while as per the copyright policy, a song can be claimed for copyright if it contains more than three seconds of elements.
