Dev Diwali…Kashi's 84 ghats lit up with 25 lakh lamps: 60 minutes of fireworks, laser show adorning the sky; One lakh people performed Mahaarti

Dev Diwali is being celebrated in Varanasi. Chief Guest Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar lit the first lamp at Namo Ghat. Before this he had inaugurated Namo Ghat. The Vice President asked Yogi, Is Namo Ghat the biggest in the world? Yogi said – there is no mold anywhere else in the world. Hearing the answer, Dhankhar started laughing.

Governor Anandi Ben Patel, CM Yogi and Union Minister Hardeep Puri also lit the lamp. All three wings of the army paid tribute to the immortal martyrs. 25 lakh lamps are lit in 84 ghats and 700 temples on the banks of Mother Ganga in Kashi.

Maha Aarti of Mother Ganga is being performed. Dashashwamedh and Assi Ghat, the Aarti site, are crowded with tourists. Guests from 40 countries including Indonesia, Vietnam and France have come to see the god Diwali. According to estimates, 15 lakh people from all over the world have reached Kashi. People want to capture this moment in their cameras.

After lighting the lamp on the ghat, fireworks have started.
