Anees Bazmee, the director of the film 'No Entry', narrated an incident related to Salman Khan and Govinda during an interview. He said that both the actors never reach the sets on time, so I fix my schedule accordingly, so that neither of them face any problem.
Speaking to Mashal India, Anees Bazmee said, 'I have worked with Salman Khan and Govinda for a long time. I never expect both of them to arrive on set on time. Instead, I adjust my schedule accordingly. Along with this you will also understand the working style of the people you are working with. If that approach works for you, work with them. If not, then don't act.
Anees Bazmee shares her experience with Govinda. He said, 'Govinda's late arrival is not new to me. I'll be really surprised if it comes in time, because it never shocks me like that. So, when I know that he will come at 12 for a 9 o'clock shoot, I finish the rest of my work by that time, so that I don't waste my time and I also keep in touch with the actor.
At the same time, many actors have talked about Govinda arriving late on the sets before. In a conversation with YouTube channel Revuron, producer Vasu Bhagnani said that 'Hero No. 1' was to be shot in Switzerland. The entire team reached there, but Govinda did not turn up for three days, due to which the shooting was put on hold.
Vasu Bhagnani said, 'I called him and asked if you are not going to come then we should come back. So he got angry and said I am coming. However, despite being late, when Govinda came, he was very skilled at his work and completed 70 percent of the song in a single day. Anees Bazmee has directed comedy films like 'Welcome', 'No Entry', 'Singh Is King' and 'Bhool Bhulaiyya 2 & 3'.
