Manoj Bajpayee had to struggle a lot in his early days in Bollywood. In a recent interview, the actor recalled a time when he had food cravings. Arranging food was the biggest problem for him at that time, Manoj said. Living in Delhi's rainy season is difficult – Manoj He recently recalled his old days during a conversation with Ritesh Aggarwal for Mint. Manoj said that in Mumbai, many problems were faced to meet the basic needs. During the conversation, the actor also recalled living in Delhi's notorious rainy season and talked about the pros and cons of living in the rainy season. Thinking about his days spent in the rainy season, he said that even today I shudder remembering those days.
Manoj used to work in Delhi for 18 hours for free Manoj said he spent several years in Delhi working on his acting skills while teaching at the National School of Drama and later shifted to Mumbai. During the conversation he said that when I was in Delhi I was not getting any money from theatre, but still I was busy because I was working 18 hours a day.
He became mentally unwell due to not getting work Manoj said, I am thankful to my friends, because they never let me sleep hungry in Delhi. If I don't eat lunch, my friends will share their food with me. But, it was very difficult for me to survive in Mumbai. He said that due to lack of work, I was not only physically but also emotionally and mentally down. Manoj Bajpayee said that at that time he was completely poor. He said that Mumbai is a very expensive place, where there is no guarantee that you will get food or not. The actor said that when he approached the production people for work, they would turn him away.
Talking about the work front, Manoj was last seen in 'Bhaiyya Ji' and the Netflix series 'Killer Soup'.
