Fadnavis said- Allies did not understand 'batenge to katenge': Ashok Chavan, Pankaja Munde protested; Ajith said – this will be happening in UP-Bihar

On the slogan 'Batange to Katange', Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday said the slogan was a response to the election campaign of the Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA). Our colleagues did not understand the true meaning of this formula.

He said that 'batenge to katange' really means we have to live together. PM Modi succinctly said – 'Ek Hai To Seif Hai.' This does not mean that we are against Muslims.

In fact, Fadnavis said this after the statement of BJP leaders Ashok Chavan and Pankaja Munde, both of whom said today that the people of Maharashtra will not like the slogans of 'Batange to Katange'. It has no relevance.

Earlier, Ajit Pawar, Deputy CM of Maharashtra and part of the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance Grand Alliance, had said on November 9 that the slogan 'Batange to Katange' would work in Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand, but not in Maharashtra. I don't support it. Our motto is – Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas.

Fadnavis said- this slogan is the answer to appeasement of MVA Fadnavis said that the 'Batange to Katange' slogan is the answer to the appeasement politics of Congress and MVA. He conducted vote jihad during the Lok Sabha elections and put up posters in mosques asking people to vote for a particular party. What kind of secularism is this?

Our government has made many welfare schemes for all communities. Did we mention that the 'Ladli Behin Yojana' will not apply to Muslim women? There are 350 castes in the OBCs, if they are divided, their importance will diminish. There are 54 groups in the Scheduled Castes and they will remain important as long as they remain one.

Pankaja Munde said- such subjects should not be brought in Maharashtra Maharashtra BJP MLC Pankaja Munde also said that it is a leader's job to treat every person living on this earth as his own. We should not bring such subjects in Maharashtra. Yogi Adityanath said this in reference to Uttar Pradesh, which has different political conditions. His words do not mean what is being understood.
