The Russian government is going to introduce a new law. Under this law, encouraging people not to have children will be prohibited in the country. No content will be run on any social media platform that discourages people from having children.
The State Duma, the lower house of the Russian Parliament, also passed a resolution to this effect on November 12. Now it will be presented in the upper house on November 20. After passing through here, it will be sent to Vladimir Putin for approval. This law will come into effect after receiving Putin's approval.
In fact, Russia is troubled by its ever-shrinking population. The number of children born in the month of June in the country remained less than 1 lakh. More than 600,000 Russians have been killed or maimed since the Ukraine war. This has further affected the population.
This has increased the concern of the government. The Russian government is making all possible efforts to come out of this. Lakhs of rupees are also being given for children.
'Not having children is western propaganda' The Russian government has called the idea of not having children liberal propaganda from the West. Russia believes the new law will help curb this propaganda. Under the new law, individuals and organizations can be fined up to Rs 3 lakh for encouraging people not to have children.
Speaking on the legislation, Parliament Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said –
Without children, there would be no country. People will stop having children because of this ideology.
The Duma also banned the adoption of children from countries where gender reassignment is allowed.
The government is thinking of creating a ministry of sex According to a Mirror report, the government is considering creating a sex ministry to stem the declining birth rate. Apart from this, the government is also putting strange proposals before the people. The government has proposed people to have sex during lunch time in the office.
A list of questions is being given to women working in offices in Moscow. It asks for information about her period cycle and personal life. Under this initiative, free fertility tests have also been done for 20 thousand women in Moscow.
Women between the ages of 18 and 23 will be given Rs 1 lakh on the birth of a child in Russia's Khabarovsk province. While in Chelyabinsk, women are being given 9 lakh rupees for the birth of their first child.
