Election Commission checks CM Shinde at helipad: 'These are clothes, not urine pot' taunts CM, Uddhav angry over checking yesterday

On Wednesday, Election Commission officials checked CM Eknath Shinde's luggage at the Kolgaon helipad in Palghar, Maharashtra. Officials searched Shinde's bag, briefcase and other belongings. It was also videographed.

Shinde said to the officer- There are clothes.. The officer said yes. After this Shinde said – there are clothes, no urine pot etc. Shinde's comment is being considered as a mockery of Uddhav's statement.

In fact, Uddhav Thackeray's luggage was also checked twice at the helipad on November 11 and 12. Uddhav then shared his video, in which he was seen saying – check my bag. If you want, you can check my urine pot too, but now I want a video of you guys checking Modi's bag. Don't wag your tail there.

Apart from Shinde, Union Minister Ramdas Athavale's helicopter was also inspected in Pune on Wednesday. Earlier on Tuesday, Nitin Gadkari's bag was checked by the EC in Latur. Recently, the helicopters of Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar have also been checked. The BJP today also released the video of Fadnavis' helicopter search.

BJP has released the video of checking Fadnavis' bag.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari's bag was searched in Latur on November 12. He came to campaign for BJP candidate Abhimanyu Pawar from Ausa Assembly. Fadnavis' bag was searched in Kolhapur on November 5. Ajit Pawar himself released the video and said that his bag was checked by EC officials during the election campaign.
