Zeenat Aman was married twice. She was previously married to actor Sanjay Khan. However, their relationship did not last long. Then in 1985, Zeenat Aman married actor Mazhar Khan. But unfortunately he had to suffer a lot in this regard as well.
In an interview, Zeenat said that along with her husband Mazhar, her in-laws also abused her a lot. She was also evicted from the property after Mazhar's death. Zeenat's children were also instigated against her.
Zeenat Aman said – Mazhar was addicted to drugs In an interview given to Simi Garewal, he said, what happened to Mazhar that he stopped helping himself. Whatever he was doing, he was hurting himself more. I couldn't be there with her and see her do this.
He became addicted to prescription drugs, painkillers. At one point he was taking medicine seven times a day. Doctors said that his kidneys would stop working. Children were requesting him not to take medicines.
It was difficult for Zeenat to end her relationship with her second husband Zeenat Aman continued – Eventually her kidneys failed. It was at this point that I thought of getting out of the relationship. It took me a long time to make that decision because I was worried about it even after getting out of the relationship. I fought many battles for them.
Zeenat was not allowed to see her husband's last darshan Zeenat also said that after Mazhar's death, her in-laws dispossessed her of all her property. Apart from this, children were also instigated against Zeenat. He said – his mother and sister took all the money of Mazhar. Not only that, they did not even allow me to have the last darshan of Mazhar.
