Sensex closed at 79,486 with a fall of 55 points: Nifty also fell by 51 points, BSE Small Cap fell by 850 points.

Today i.e. on November 8, the Sensex closed at 79,486 with a fall of 55 points. Nifty also fell by 51 points, it closed at the level of 24,148.

At the same time, BSE Small Cap fell 850 and closed at 54,913. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 16 declined and 14 rose. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 27 declined and 23 rose. In the NSE sectoral index, realty sector closed the biggest fall of 2.90%.

Foreign investors sold shares worth ₹4,888.77 crore

  • Reliance, ICICI Bank, SBI and Asian Paints were the biggest losers in the market. Whereas, Mahindra & Mahindra, Infosys and HDFC Bank dragged the market down.
  • In the Asian market, Japan's Nikkei rose by 0.30%. Whereas Korea's Kospi closed with a fall of 0.14% and China's Shanghai Composite closed with a fall of 0.53%.
  • On November 7, the US Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.0013% to 43,729 and the S&P 500 rose 0.74% to 5,973. The Nasdaq rose 1.51% to 19,269.
  • According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹4,888.77 crore on November 7. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹ 1,786.70 crore.

Niva Bupa Health-Insurance IPO subscribed 0.69 times on first day

Today is the second day of bidding for the IPO of private health insurer Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company Limited. This issue was subscribed a total of 0.69 times on the first day. This IPO was subscribed 0.76 times in the retail category, 0.83 times in the Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) category and 0.35 times in the Non-Institutional Investors (NII) category.

Investors will be able to bid for this initial public offering till November 11. The company wants to raise ₹2,200 crore through this issue. Today is the last day to bid for the IPO of Swiggy and ACME Solar Holdings. Today is the last day to bid for the IPO of Swiggy Limited and ACME Solar Holdings Limited. Swiggy's IPO total was subscribed 0.35 times in two days. The issue was subscribed 0.84 times in the retail category, 0.28 times in the qualified institutional buyers (QIB) category and 0.14 times in the non-institutional investors (NII) category.

At the same time, the IPO of ACME Solar Holdings was subscribed a total of 0.74 times in two days. The issue was subscribed 2.16 times in the retail category, 0.33 times by qualified institutional buyers (QIB) and 0.59 times in the non-institutional investors (NII) category. The market closed with a decline yesterday Earlier yesterday i.e. on 7th November, Sensex had closed at the level of 79,541 with a fall of 836 points. Nifty also fell by 284 points, it closed at the level of 24,199.

Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 29 were down and 1 was up. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 46 were in decline and 4 were up. All the sectoral indices of NSE closed with a decline. The metal sector had the highest decline of 2.73%.
