South cinema superstar Kamal Haasan talked about his personal life in an interview. He shared an incident related to his ex-wife Sarika. Kamal Haasan said that he was shocked when he came to know that Sarika had left her home and was facing financial problems.
Kamal is shocked to hear Sarika's condition In a conversation with Simi Garewal, Kamal Haasan said that he and Sarika first met in 1984 during the shooting of the film 'Raj Tilak'. First there was a good friendship between the two and then this friendship turned into love. After this both got married in the year 1988.

Kamal Haasan said, 'I did not know that Sarika left her home alone and was facing mental and financial problems. She was a star when I met her, but few people still knew where she lived. As Sarika and my friendship deepened, I got to know her real condition and was shocked. I liked her a lot, but also sympathized with her. Sarika, however, had no need for that sympathy, and found it very insulting. If we asked her if she needed help, she would get angry.
Both got divorced in 2004 Kamal and Sarika divorced in 2004. Both have two daughters Shruti and Akshara Haasan. After the divorce, Sarika entered the world of TV. Recently, Sarika was also seen in the film 'Unchai' with Amitabh Bachchan.

During this time the two developed a friendship which later turned into love. However, they got divorced in 1988 after 9 years of marriage.
