MLAs fight like school children, VIDEO: J&K assembly riots for fourth day over Article 370, Marshal throws BJP MLAs out of the house

There was a huge uproar in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on the fourth day on Friday. Awami Ittehad Party MLA Khurshid Ahmed Sheikh today again tried to wave a poster regarding restoration of Article 370. Earlier, the opposition leaders stopped him.

There were fights between MLAs. Meanwhile, an MLA climbed the table. On the other hand, Marshal Khurshid dragged Ahmed away. Meanwhile, Khurshid fell on the ground. He was expelled. Marshall also expelled some BJP MLAs. After which all BJP leaders went on walkout.

Khurshid Ahmed is the brother of Baramulla MP Engineer Rashid. Rashid was arrested under the UAPA in 2016 on charges of terror funding in Jammu and Kashmir. He is lodged in Tihar Jail since 2019. He was released on bail to campaign for the assembly elections.

Khurshid Ahmed also tried to wave the poster on Friday. The marshal had already kicked them out.

Amid the uproar, some MLAs also climbed the desk. There were also fights between them.

November 7: MLAs grabbed each other's collars 3 BJP MLAs injured

During the Jammu and Kashmir assembly session, there was a fierce fight between the MLAs on Thursday. The MLAs of the ruling party and the opposition BJP grabbed each other's collars and pushed each other. In which 3 MLAs of BJP have been injured. After the uproar in the house, the speaker suspended the proceedings of the assembly for 20 minutes.

Langat MLA Khurshid Ahmed Sheikh raised the banner of restoring Article 370 in the House. After this BJP MLA and Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma opposed it. BJP MLAs started chanting slogans against the opposition.

The streak of opposition by BJP MLAs did not stop here. They reached Ahmed Sheikh and snatched the banner from his hands and tore it. Meanwhile, the MLAs of the ruling National Conference also clashed with the BJP MLAs in support of Sheikh. After this, Marshall expelled the BJP MLAs from the House.

The BJP alleged that the National Conference is misleading the people of Jammu and Kashmir and said that no legislature can bring back Articles 370 and 35A.

In the proposal, it was written – the government should talk about the special status of Jammu and Kashmir As the House proceedings began, Jammu and Kashmir Deputy CM Surinder Chaudhary moved a motion to restore the special status, which was revoked by the Center on August 5, 2019. It said, 'The special status of the state and the constitutional guarantee are important. It protects the identity, culture and rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The Legislature expressed concern over his unilateral removal.

November 6 was the third day of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly session. Proceedings were suspended for the entire day following the uproar.
