3 crore loss to Railways in husband-wife quarrel: Sta. The master was on duty and the wife started arguing on the phone, on hearing 'OK' on the other line, the staff signaled the train on the closed route.

A fight between husband and wife caused the train to run on a closed route and caused a loss of Rs 3 crore to the railways. The Railways suspended the husband and due to this the husband filed a divorce petition in the High Court. The High Court said, “This behavior of the wife is mental cruelty. The husband should divorce.”

The case of Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh is interesting. In fact it happened that while the station master was on duty his wife started arguing over the phone. Mobile in one hand, office phone in other hand, which was in his hand. Talk was going on both sides. Holding the office phone, the wife said to the station manager – come home from the office, I will talk later. Husband said 'OK'.

On the other hand, on hearing the OK on the other line, the second station master signaled the train to depart and the train started running on the route, which was banned. Because of this, the railway suffered a loss of Rs 3 crore and suspended the station master who quarreled over the phone.

Now let's know about the case in detail… The girl, a resident of Bhilai, got married on October 12, 2011 as per Hindu customs. Her husband hails from Visakhapatnam and is a station master in the railways. The husband alleged that his wife looked unhappy when the reception took place on October 14 after the wedding.

When her husband spoke to her at night, she revealed that she was having an affair with the librarian of the engineering college. She also had physical relations with him several times, which she cannot forget. The husband informed his father about this, but the father assured that he would not do this in future and took his guarantee.

But the situation did not improve, fights started After the father-in-law's advice, the husband asked the girl to forget everything, but it did not happen. The situation reached a stage where the wife started talking to her lover in front of the husband. Controversy started growing in this matter. One night when the husband was on duty, the wife got a call and a quarrel ensued, the train ran on a closed route.

After this, the husband filed for divorce in the Visakhapatnam family court accusing the wife of mental torture. Here the wife filed a case alleging harassment for dowry. On this, the police have registered a case under 498 against the husband, his 70-year-old father, elder brother who is a government employee, sister-in-law and cousins.

Meanwhile, the petition of the husband was transferred to Durg on the direction of the Supreme Court. The Durg Court rejected the application and the husband applied in the High Court.

Accused of illicit relationship with sister-in-law The case was heard by a bench of Justice Rajni Dubey and Justice Sanjay Kumar Jaiswal. The High Court heard that the wife had accused the husband of having illicit relations with her sister-in-law when the petitioner's mother died in 2004. In her marriage, the sister-in-law performed all the rituals of her mother. The husband used to give his sister-in-law the status of mother. The case of dowry could not be proved in the High Court.

The High Court said- the action of the wife was mental cruelty The division bench said that the husband of the railway employee had to be suspended because he had an argument over the phone. On the other hand, a false report was filed against the husband's family and false allegations were made against the sister-in-law of having an illicit relationship. All these actions of the wife are mental cruelty towards the husband. The High Court set aside the decision of the family court and accepted the divorce petition of the husband.
