'Main Itni Sundar Main Main Kya Karu?: Viral Song Fame Actress Ashnoor Kaur Shares Experience Of Trolling On Social Media

Actress Ashnoor Kau, who is also a popular social media personality today, has seen many ups and downs in her career. Social media trolling in particular affected him deeply. A few years back when his album – Mein Itni Sunder Moin Mein Kare? But there was a lot of trolling going on, so that moment was very difficult for him.

Recently, in a special conversation with Frontpage Insights, Ashnoor shared his trolling experience. During the conversation, he also opened up about his limited choice of films in Bollywood and avoiding bold scenes and kissing scenes.

Do you think a particular event or idea helped change the trolling experience? My first experience of trolling was when my song – Mein Itni Sunder Moin Mein Kare? came There were a lot of memes on it, and at that time I really faced trolling. I called my song co-star Milind and asked what was going on. At that time I felt very bad because the song was being trolled, but I was the face of the song.

Slowly I started looking at it from a positive perspective. I realized that this is a different way of popularity; People were talking about the song without making personal comments on me. So I stopped taking it too seriously.

How did you deal with initial trolling on social media? When I joined social media, everything was new, and I was in my teens, so being in the public eye sometimes made me feel bad reading negative comments. I got support from my parents, who explained that trolling with fame is normal. As I grew up, I came to know that even big stars face trolling. I decided to ignore the trollers. Now I block them. Actually, my fans face these trollers themselves, so I'm not worried.

After working in 'Manmarjiyan' with Taapsee Pannu and 'Sanju' with Ranbir Kapoor, you haven't done much in Bollywood. My Bollywood experience had a great start. I worked with talented actors like Taapsee Pannu and Ranbir Kapoor, who taught me a lot. It was a dream to work with directors like Rajkumar Hirani and Anurag Kashyap. I have always been open to every medium, but I took a break because I wanted to complete my studies. I couldn't devote time to school because of acting, so I found it necessary to gain college experience and stayed away from daily soaps or long-term projects.

Were you being offered small roles like the sister character? Yes, there were many times when I got offers for big projects that had the role of a sibling or a daughter, but I didn't take those roles. I don't just want to be part of a big project and look good, but play characters that contribute to the story and leave an impact on the audience. For me, the role is important, not just part of a larger project. I thought that being content with just playing small roles would not give me the chance to deliver the performance I wanted.

Have you avoided bold scenes and kissing scenes? Yes, I have set a limit for myself. I like to act my age. When I took a break from TV, I had to play the role of a married woman, which I didn't think was appropriate at that age. I respect my parents a lot, so I consider their feelings while choosing roles. As an actress I consider it important to keep myself balanced. I set clear boundaries for myself and do my best to follow them.
