The TomTom Traffic Index released report provides information on traffic trend data from 387 cities in 55 countries.
The two cities in the country have topped the cities with the highest traffic and highest vehicular congestion across Asia in a report released by the TomTom Traffic Index. In this, Bengaluru is at the first position and Pune is at the second position.
A four-wheeler takes 28 minutes 10 seconds to cover a distance of 10 km in Bengaluru. It takes 27 minutes 50 seconds to cover the same distance in Pune.
Apart from this, New Delhi is at the 12th position and Mumbai is at the 14th position. It takes an average of 21.40 minutes to travel a distance of 10 km in New Delhi and 21.20 minutes in Mumbai.
London, the capital of Britain, and Dublin, the capital of Ireland, are the cities with the highest traffic and the most vehicular congestion in the global list.
The average time to cover 10 km was 37.20 minutes in London and 29.30 minutes in Dublin.
The report provides information on traffic trend data from 387 cities in 55 countries. Also, according to the Asian Development Bank, the number of urban vehicles is doubling every 6 years, due to the growing population of cities.

11 lakh children in the country are at risk of child marriage, more than 5 lakh in UP. The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) released a report on Thursday which said it has identified 11 lakh children at risk of child marriage in the year 2023-24.
According to the commission, there are more than 5 lakh such children who are at risk of child marriage in Uttar Pradesh alone. The NCPCR informed that it has taken several steps under the Child Marriage Prohibition Act, 2006 in collaboration with officials, district authorities and other concerned agencies to prevent child marriage.
58 lakh cases pending in 25 High Courts of the country: 62 thousand cases pending for last 30 years The report of the National Judicial Data Grid has come out regarding the pending cases of the country, in which it has been stated that there are 58 lakh 59 thousand cases pending in the total of 25 High Courts of India.
Out of them, about 42 lakh cases are civil and 16 lakh cases are criminal. Out of these 58 lakh, 62 thousand cases are pending for 30 years. Also, 3 cases are running for 72 years.
Out of these 3 cases, 2 cases are pending in Calcutta High Court and 1 case in Madras High Court. According to the report, more than 5 crore cases are pending in all courts (Supreme Court, High Court, District and other courts) of the country.
