Tata Naction Petrol-Diesel Version Launched With Panoramic Sunroof: Over 60 Connecting Features In Compact SUV, Will Take On Mahindra 3XO

Tata Motors has launched petrol and diesel versions of its most popular car Nection with a panoramic sunroof. It is available in the top-of-the-line Fearless Plus PS trim. Its price for Petrol MT is Rs. 13.6 lakh, for Petrol DCT Rs. 14.8 lakh, for diesel MT Rs. 15 lakhs and for Diesel AMT Rs. 15.6 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom).

The sub-4 meter SUV comes with over 60 connected features in four trims – Smart, Pure, Creative and Fearless. Apart from this, advanced comfort and safety features have been added. The company recently introduced the CNG version of the SUV with a panoramic sunroof. This compact SUV comes with a turbo petrol engine. So, this is the first car in India to come with a turbo petrol engine and CNG combination. In the sub-4 meter SUV segment, only Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV 300 offer a panoramic sunroof. The panoramic sunroof is very high.

Nexon facelift exterior design.

Exterior: A new design LED setup and alloy wheels will be available. Talking about the design, the Nexon gets a new LED DRLs split headlamp setup at the front. Below this, LED headlamps are installed on the sporty bumper. 16 inch diamond cut dual-tone alloy wheels will be available on the side.

The rear gets a fully integrated LED tail light, which the company calls the 'X factor tail lamp'. It also has a welcome and goodbye function. This car comes with 6 color options. These include Fearless Purple, Creative Ocean, Pure Grey, Flame Red, Daytona Gray and Pristine White.

Interior: 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system The cabin of the car features a two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel. Apart from this, the car gets a touch panel HVAC unit on the dashboard and a new gear selector on the center console. The Tata Nexon CNG will get a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster. Front ventilated seats are provided in the top variant of the car.

Features: Electric sunroof with voice command Tata Nexon is equipped with many advanced features. It includes Tata's IRA 2.0 mobile connected-technology, voice assisted electric sunroof, JBL 9-speaker sound system, wireless charger, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, first-in-segment navigation display on the instrument cluster. Apart from this, the top variant of the car also gets cruise control, height adjustable driver seat, leather upholstery and electric panoramic sunroof with voice command.

Safety features: 360-degree camera and TPMS For safety, the Nexon has a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, category one blind-view monitor, ESP, 6 airbags, hill-hold control, roll over mitigation, traction control, ISOFIX child anchor seats and a tire pressure monitoring system. . Features like TPMS) are available.

Performance: Petrol, Diesel, CNG and Electric Tata Nexon is the first car in the country, which comes in four versions: petrol, diesel, CNG and electric. For performance, its ICE powered version has a 1.2 liter turbo-petrol, which generates 120PS of power and 170Nm of torque. Along with this, a choice of 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic transmission) and 6-speed AMT (automated manual transmission) gearboxes are available.

This engine generates 100PS of power and 170Nm of torque in iCNG. As for the transmission, it has been tuned to a 6-speed manual gearbox. An automatic transmission option has not yet been offered with it.

Apart from this, the Nexon also gets a 1.5-litre diesel engine with 115PS of power and 260Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT gearbox option.
