Earlier on Friday night in Budgam, terrorists attacked foreigners. In which two people from UP were injured, who are undergoing treatment in the hospital. He was working in Jal Jeevan project in Budgam. This is the second attack on migrants in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 12 days.

Army and police are conducting search operations in Jammu and Kashmir. Vehicles passing near the encounter site are being checked.

Intelligence agencies said that the target killing is a new ploy by Pakistan to spread unrest in Kashmir. It is believed to be aimed at disrupting the plans to rehabilitate Kashmiri Pandits in Jammu and Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370.

After the abrogation of Article 370, there has been an increase in incidents of target killings in Kashmir, with militants particularly targeting Kashmiri Pandits, migrant workers and even local Muslims working in the government or police, whom they consider a threat to India.
