IND Vs NZ 3rd Test: New Zealand win the toss and bat first, Bumrah out of playing XI due to ill health

The third match of the Test series between India and New Zealand is being played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai from today. New Zealand captain Tom Latham won the toss and elected to bat first. The Kiwi team has made two changes to its playing XI. Ish Sodhi has replaced Mitchell Santner due to injury. While Matt Henry has returned in place of Tim Southee. So India has made a change in its playing-11. Jasprit Bumrah has been rested and replaced by Mohammad Siraj. The New Zealand team has taken an unbeaten 2-0 lead in the three-match series. New Zealand defeated India by 8 wickets in the first match and by 113 runs in the second match. However, despite this defeat, India remain at the top of the WTC points table. India will have to win this match at any cost considering the WTC final. The team still has 6 matches left in this cycle. In order to play the WTC final without relying on others, a team must win 4 of these matches and draw 2.
