6 people were seriously burnt in blast while doing illegal gas refilling in Rajasthan's Bikaner. The incident took place on Patdi Peda Road in Nokha on Thursday night. According to information, an illegal gas refilling center was being run in the basement of a rickshaw repairing shop here. A burning video of a person has also surfaced.
Councilor Ankit Toshniwal and Devkishan Chandak rushed the injured to Nokhani District Hospital. From where he was referred to Bikaner after first aid.
As soon as the information was received, Nokha CO Himanshu Sharma and a police officer reached the spot. Police officer Hansraj Luna said – Kushal, Anand, Dhanraj, Kishan, Om Prakash and Khindasar resident Mukesh were injured in the accident. The cause of the incident is being investigated.
All the injured were referred to Bikaner after first aid treatment at Nokha Government Hospital.
Eyewitnesses said illegal gas refilling was going on in a basement on Patti Peda Road in Nokha. Five people were sitting in the rickshaw outside and one person was refilling in the basement.
At the same time there was a sudden explosion due to gas leakage. A person refilling gas in the basement was badly burned. At the same time, all the people sitting in the rickshaw were engulfed in flames. Bystanders tried to douse the fire by throwing sand and informed the fire brigade.
