'Amit Shah unleashed violence in Canada': Trudeau govt's serious allegation, minister admits – he named Home Secretary in US newspaper

The Canadian government has alleged that Home Minister Amit Shah is behind a conspiracy to target Sikh separatists in their country. Canadian Deputy Foreign Minister David Morrison made the claim at a parliamentary panel on Tuesday, Reuters reported.

Morrison told a parliamentary panel that he had told the American newspaper Washington Post that India's home minister was involved in the matter.

A reporter from the Washington Post called me and asked if this (Amit Shah) was the same person, Morrison said. I said yes, he is the same person. However, Morrison did not provide much information or evidence during this period. This is the first time that a Canadian official has openly named an Indian government minister.
