Bomb threat to 2 hotels in Tirupati: 11 hotels receive fake emails in 3 days; Fake threat to 9 hotels in Lucknow

A bomb threat mail was sent to two hotels in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. Both the hotels were evacuated after this. Bomb squad and dog squad teams searched the hotels, but found nothing.

SP L Subbarayudu of Tirupati said that the hotel has been checked. The bomb threat went wrong. The cyber crime branch is investigating the matter. 7 hotels in Tirupati have received false bomb threats in the last 3 days.

At the same time, 9 hotels in UP's Lucknow also received bomb threats today. At 10 am, the hotels received a threatening e-mail.

It read – There is a bomb in a black bag in the grounds of your hotel. Send 5500 thousand dollars (50 lakh rupees), otherwise I will blow it up with a bomb, blood will spread everywhere. Any attempt to defuse the bomb will not succeed.

Bomb squad and dog squad teams reached all the 9 hotels and searched, but found nothing. Officials said the news of the bomb turned out to be false. The matter is being investigated.

Third consecutive day of bomb threats at hotels Sunday was the third consecutive day of bomb threats. On Saturday too, bomb threat mails were sent to 12 hotels in Tirupati and Rajkot in Gujarat.

The 10 hotels present in Rajkot include famous hotels like Imperial Palace, Sayaji Hotel, Seasons Hotel, Hotel Grand Regency. Mails were also sent to Raj Park Hotel and Pai Viceroy Hotel in Tirupati. All these threats were proved false during investigation.

On October 25, 3 hotels received bomb threats On October 25, three hotels in Tirupati also received a bomb threat email. A mail linked to drug mafia Jafar Sadiq was also sent to 3 hotels near Leelamhal, Kapiltheertham and Alipiri. All hotels were evacuated and searched, but nothing suspicious was found.
