Filmmaker Luv Ranjan has revealed that Ranbir gave 37 takes for a scene in the film 'Main Juthi Tu Makkar'. Even after this, Ranbir said that if Ranjan is not happy with the shot, he will give more shots.
Ranjan wanted to cast Ajay Devgan and Ranbir together Luv Ranjan also revealed that he initially wanted to make a film with Ranbir and Ajay Devgan. While that film didn't materialise, she did the film 'Main Juthi Tu Makkar' with Ranbir.
Talking about his film on Sony Max, Ranjan said, 'It was a new connection. Ranbir and I were working together for the first time. We started talking right there. This was a film we were meant to do together. But the film could not be made. After this I decided to make 'Tu Juthi Mein Makkar' with Ranbir. Ranbir also agreed on this.
Ranbir gave 37 takes for one scene Ranjan further appreciated Ranbir's work and dedication. He said, 'Many interesting things happen while making a film. One thing is that it was the third day of shooting. We took 37 takes of Ranbir. He's the guy who will come to you after 37 takes and say – if you're not 100% happy, let me know. I will give it another chance. Don't say it's okay because I gave 37 takes.
The film was a hit at the box office It is to be noted that the film 'Tu Juthi Mein Makkar' was directed by Luv Ranjan. The film had big celebs like Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Boney Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia. Made on a budget of 200 crores, the film earned 223 crores worldwide.
